2006 Municipal Election – Environmental Survey

Welcome to the 2006 Waterloo Region Environmental Survey conducted by members of the 7 Generations Network to find out how “eco-savvy” your municipal candidates are. The survey is divided into sections (i.e. pesticides, air quality etc.) solely for ease of use but you know they are an interconnected whole. This year we have also included a separate survey for School Board Trustee candidates.

Every reasonable effort was made to ensure all the candidates received the survey but not all candidates completed or acknowledged receipt of it. You may draw your own conclusions. All responses are verbatim (copied and pasted) with only the font type and size converted to Times New Roman 10 for consistency and space limitations so spelling mistakes and typos are not ours. Space limitations also necessitated any responses longer than a sentence or two be included as a “comment”. See legend below.
